Coram is a hamlet in the Town of Brookhaven with close to 40,000 residents, one of the largest hamlets in Suffolk County, spread across about 14 square miles of central Long Island. The hamlet is built around the commercial corridor where Middle Country Road meets Route 112, anchored by Coram Plaza and a run of strip centers, while the surrounding blocks, including the neighborhoods near Pine Ridge Golf Club, are quieter residential streets. Coram never developed a traditional village downtown, it grew instead as a collection of neighborhoods connected by those two main roads.
Our base is at 170 Garfield Ave in Islip Terrace, about 16 miles and a 25 minute drive from central Coram, north on Sagtikos State Parkway to the Long Island Expressway and then north on Route 112 into the hamlet. That drive is short enough that we can bring a van onto a Coram block on short notice, set up in a driveway, and run a full detail without asking anyone to drive to a shop or wait in line.
Full mobile setup in a Coram driveway, apartment lot, or assigned parking spot, we bring our own water and power.
Sap and pollen removal built into the exterior detail, useful on blocks near Pine Ridge Golf Club and other mature pine cover.
Experience working around Coram's garden apartment and condo communities, where most residents park rather than walk to errands.
We know the hamlet's layout along Middle Country Road and Route 112, from the shopping plazas to the residential blocks on both sides.
Coram sits on ground that was carved out of central Long Island's pine forests, and Pine Ridge Golf Club, a few blocks off Middle Country Road, was built directly out of that pitch pine woodland when it opened in 2006. Cars parked under mature pine and oak cover on Coram's residential streets pick up sap and pollen that a quick rinse will not remove, and left on a hood or windshield through a warm week it can mark clear coat. We build sap and pollen removal into the standard exterior detail we run in Coram rather than treating it as an extra step.
Coram's housing leans on garden apartment and condo communities near Middle Country Road, places like Oakview Apartments and The Point at Pine Ridge, alongside single family blocks off the main corridor. Coram has a Walk Score of 17, meaning almost everyone here drives and parks at home rather than walking to errands, so most of our bookings are a driveway or an assigned parking spot rather than a curbside spot downtown. We ask about your building and parking setup when you book so we show up already knowing where to put the van.
Coram carries more local history than its shopping plazas suggest. The Davis Town Meeting House, built around 1750 near the hamlet's Route 112 corridor, served as the seat of Brookhaven Town government from 1790 to 1884 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2001, a reminder that Coram was a real center of town business long before Middle Country Road became a retail strip. We work the full stretch of that road, from the shopping centers near Route 112 out to the residential streets on both sides.
Most Coram bookings are in a driveway, an apartment lot, or an assigned parking spot rather than a spot right off Middle Country Road. If you live in one of Coram's garden apartment or condo communities, tell us your building and unit number when you book so we can confirm exactly where to park without blocking another resident's spot. We bring our own water and power, so nothing has to run through your unit or a shared outdoor spigot.
Coram already has a few car care options along Middle Country Road, including at least one independent detailing shop working out of the hamlet, plus a nearby shop that offers detailing alongside window tinting. Those are fixed locations you drive to and wait at. We do the opposite, we bring a full interior and exterior detail to your driveway or apartment lot, backed by more than 175 Google reviews and a 4.8 star average across our service area.
Pine sap and pollen on a Coram driveway often need more than a rinse. Ask about our car wash add-on between full details, touch-up paint repair if sap has already marked the clear coat, headlight restoration for oxidized lenses, and ceramic coating for a finish that sheds sap instead of holding onto it.
Want the exterior on its own? See exterior detailing. Need everything inside and out in one visit? That's a full detail. And once your car is caught up, ask about a recurring maintenance plan so it stays that way.

Yes. We work the full hamlet, from the shopping corridor along Middle Country Road and Route 112 out to the residential streets and apartment communities on both sides, including the area near Pine Ridge Golf Club.
A lot of Coram was built right out of central Long Island's pine forests, and Pine Ridge Golf Club a few blocks off Middle Country Road was carved from that same pitch pine woodland. Sap from pine trees is harder to lift than sap from typical shade trees and can mark clear coat if it sits too long, so we build sap and pollen removal into our standard exterior detail in Coram.
Usually, yes. Tell us your building and unit number when you book. We will confirm where we can park without blocking another resident's spot, and we bring our own water and power so we are not relying on an outlet or a hose bib that might not be yours to use.
Coram is about 16 miles and a 25 minute drive from our base at 170 Garfield Ave in Islip Terrace. There is no travel fee anywhere in our service area.
