Full Detail

Full Detail

A full detail covers the whole vehicle in one visit. Exterior gets the two bucket hand wash, decontamination if the paint needs it, wheel and tire cleaning, and a hand applied wax or sealant. Interior gets a full vacuum including under the seats, steam cleaning of carpets and mats, wiped down panels, and leather conditioning where applicable. Doing both sides together in one appointment means we're not working around a half finished car, the interior gets vacuumed before the exterior wash so nothing tracks back in, and you're not paying for two separate setup and drive times.

A sedan typically takes 3 to 4 hours, midsize SUVs and trucks run 4 to 5 hours, and larger vehicles or ones with heavy interior buildup can run longer. Available mobile or in-shop.

A quick wash or a basic interior vacuum on its own only addresses one side of the car. A full detail is more efficient specifically because of sequencing, we vacuum and steam clean the interior first so no dust or debris gets tracked back onto freshly washed exterior surfaces, and we save protection products for last so they're not touched or disturbed by later interior work. Piecemeal services done on separate days lose that sequencing advantage.

Steam cleaning interior surfaces does more than a standard vacuum because heat and moisture break down oils and grime in carpet fibers and seat material that a vacuum alone can't lift out. It's also gentler on upholstery than heavy scrubbing with chemical cleaners, which matters for cloth interiors that can wear or discolor with repeated harsh cleaning.

A common misconception is that a full detail is just a wash plus a vacuum done back to back. The real value is in what gets caught in between, decontaminating paint before it's sealed, conditioning leather so it doesn't dry and crack, treating stains before they set permanently. Those steps are easy to skip if a service is rushed, which is part of why a full detail takes real time rather than being a quick add-on to a basic wash.

  • Two bucket exterior wash plus decontamination as needed

  • Full interior vacuum, steam clean, and panel wipe down

  • Leather conditioning and stain treatment where needed

  • Hand applied wax or sealant for exterior protection

One Visit, Full Coverage

Doing interior and exterior together in the same appointment means the order of operations actually works in your favor, vacuum before wash, wipe down before protection, instead of undoing your own progress.

Honest Assessment

If the interior has deep set stains, pet hair buildup, or heavy odor, or the paint needs correction beyond a standard wax, we'll tell you upfront and recommend the right add-on rather than quietly skipping steps to stay on schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in a full detail that isn't in a basic wash?

A full detail covers the complete interior, vacuum, steam clean, panel wipe down, leather conditioning, plus the full exterior, hand wash, decontamination if needed, and wax or sealant. A basic wash only covers the exterior surface.

How long will my car be with you?

About 2 hours for an Essential Detail, 2.5 hours for a Signature Detail, and about 6 hours for an Elite Detail, with large SUVs and trucks on the longer side of each. We'll give you a more specific window when you book based on your vehicle.

Can I get a full detail mobile, or does it need to be in-shop?

Both are available. Mobile works well for most full details. If your car needs heavier interior work like deep stain removal or significant paint decontamination, we may recommend in-shop for better results.

How often should I get a full detail versus just a wash?

A full detail every few months with lighter exterior washes in between is a common approach. If you're prepping for resale, hosting passengers regularly, or dealing with pet hair or spills, more frequent full details make sense.

Do you treat pet hair and odors?

Yes, pet hair removal and interior odor treatment can be handled as part of a full detail. Heavy pet hair buildup may need extra time, let us know when booking so we can plan accordingly.

Is a full detail worth it over just doing interior or exterior separately?

If you need both done, yes, it's more efficient in one visit because of sequencing, vacuum before wash, wipe down before protection, and you save on setup time versus booking two separate appointments.
